Applied Photography SIG – March

When: Tuesday, March 1, 2016, 7:00 pm
Where; Drummond Twsp Hall, 1920 Drummond Concession 7

Have you ever wanted to create one of those light orbs, or just get creative with light? Well here is your chance to capture that ball of light. René and I have been practicing with a few different scenarios and we are really looking forward to sharing the experience with you - AND WE DON’T HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE, so no matter what the weather the photo shoot is a go. If we have to cancel the meeting due to inclement weather a notification will be sent out at 4:30 so check your e-mail.

Please bring:

  • Your Camera - make sure your battery is charged and if you have extra bring it too.
  • A Tripod - we will have a couple of extras if you don’t have one.

For this type of photography you will be shooting in manual mode, setting your speed to at least 15 seconds but more than likely 30 seconds. So please read up on that if you are not familiar with it. This will be lots of fun and being prepared for this type of photography will certainly make it easier on you. We will of course be discussing the How To’s with you before the shoot but having knowledge about your own camera is benefit.

Here are a couple of teasers for you. (They aren’t perfect but …this is also about the journey!)
