Applied Photography SIG – November 2016

When: Tuesday, November 1, 2016 @ 7:00 pm
Where: Drummond Twsp Hall, 1920 Drummond Concession 7

with Geoff Stimpson

Another of our members is stepping up to the podium and sharing his expertise in capturing water in motion. Geoff will address how to capture the silky look for water falls and a sense of movement for river/rapids photos. One of the nicest things about shooting water is that you can get different results every time you shoot. So join us for an informative evening with Geoff and learn the tricks of "photographing water in motion".

With the positive response from our members last year on this project and your encouragement to attack it again this year we decided - Why not? So we will be drawing the names on Tuesday which will give you lots of time for your research and preparing your presentations in January and February. This was a lot of fun and very interesting so we hope that you will jump on board with this project.

As always, we encourage you to share your images (maximum of 3) with other members. We all learn by seeing others photos and more often than not it encourages us to get out there with our camera. We also like to hear about how you got the final result. We don’t restrict images to only your best ones. If you captured an okay shot but would like to know what you could have done to improve on it - send it along too. Please send Linda your images by noon on Tuesday, November 1st.

Look forward to seeing you on Tuesday
