Yes that's right folks, you asked for it so now you've got it.  Please bring something to share with other members.  This is always a hit and the variety of food is amazing.  Don't forget to bring your plate, cutlery and a drink (non-alcoholic).   We will plan to eat around 7 pm but the doors will be open at 6:30 to set up for dinner and the evening.

THE  2014/2015  SEASON  BEGINS

The light was awesome, the moment perfect and the setting ideal - you get back to your computer and download the images, anticipating the vision of a well made photo.  Despite the superb conditions, the subject in your image is not where you would like it.  We have all had photos like that and thought "if only I had repositioned myself or the subject the picture would be perfect”.  Well, we are going to show you a way to fix that.  The Content Aware Move Tool in Photoshop and PS Elements is the tool of choice to help you through these situations.

Last year we enjoyed hearing from many members about something they had learned from a video or written article.  If you would like to share your knowledge please let Linda know and we will give you some time during our evening to make a presentation.  As you know, we all learn when someone shares information.  It opens up the communication lines for discussion and discovery.

Hopefully you have all taken photos over the summer.  Whether you got away on a holiday or enjoyed the local area and summer events, we would love to see the results of your photography skills.  Please limit your submissions to three (3) images.  This will allow time to see everyone’s photos.

Please send Linda your image by NOON on Tuesday, September 2nd

Please label your image with your name

If sending photos via e-mail is a problem please bring them on a jump drive to the meeting.

Look forward to seeing you on September 2nd
