Meeting – Applied Photography SIG

When: Tuesday, December 3, 2013 @ 7 pm
Where: Drummond Twsp Hall 1920 Drummond Concession 7

NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY DISCUSSION AND PHOTO SHOOT

You can make some phenomenal images with night photography. The same scene taken at night can be something so different from the daytime shot. We will start the evening out with a discussion on the techniques of night photography before heading out to put into practice what we have learned. There will be Christmas lights, decorations, car lights and sparklers to photograph outside - maybe not as much as in town but we will be able to shoot, come inside to get warm and head out again. So.....Bring your camera, batteries, and tripod. There will be a few extra tripods available if you don’t have one. Don’t forget to dress warmly.

SEND ME YOUR IMAGES ELEMENTS OF VISUAL DESIGN

At last month’s meeting we reviewed the many elements in photography that can make an outstanding image. With that in mind we asked that you set out on a quest to capture a photo that will grab the interest of the viewer. We are looking forward to seeing what you came up with and REALLY encourage ALL of you to CONTRIBUTE. Sharing your photos with other members is a great way to get feedback and offer inspiration to others so please consider sending Linda your photos (maximum of 2) so we can enjoy your photos too.
