Regular Meeting – January

When: Tuesday, January 27, 2015 @ 7:00 pm
Where: Room 104, Algonquin College, Perth

"Change A Photo" Group Activity

Instead of a guest speaker this month we will be enjoying a group activity, conducted in small groups, in which we will make changes to a photo using editing software. Each group will utilize a laptop with the photo and editing software available. This was a fun activity last January so it is back on the agenda by popular request to start off the New Year.

Members’ Showcase

Theme Image: Stitched Up/ Panorama

This month’s theme should provoke our imaginations to come up with some interesting submissions. No doubt Rene´ will be showcasing his surgical stitches. If you have not attempted a panorama photo in the past, now is your opportunity to expand your horizon and give it a try. With the dual description of Stitched Up/Panorama we look forward to seeing your creative endeavours.

You are encouraged to submit your photo to share with other club members. Sending your image by e-mail works very well and facilitates showing them on the screen at the meeting. For this month, please send your photo to René Jones. When submitting your images, please identify them with your first and last name and in the subject line of your e-mail indicate that it is for the theme STITCHED UP/PANORAMA.

Anything Goes

You are encouraged to submit images for Anything Goes either by e-mail or by bringing them with you to the meeting in printed format. You can submit more than one image for this segment. For images submitted this month please e-mail them to René Jones. Please identify the images with your first and last name and in the subject line please type Anything Goes.

It is by sharing with each other that we learn and this segment offers an opportunity to do just that. By sharing our images we receive encouragement for our efforts and gain inspiration from the work of others which may lead us to try new techniques.
