Regular Meeting – January

When: Tuesday, January 26, 2016 @ 7:00 pm
Where: Algonquin College, Room 104

Group Activity: Change A Photo

Back by popular request, we will be enjoying a group activity called ‘Change A Photo’ which we have done for the past two January meetings. We will break into small groups, each with a laptop, and edit two pre-selected photos. There will be different photos for each group to work on. Once the images have been edited, both the originals and the changed versions will be shown on the main screen for the group to discuss. This is always a fun way to start off the New Year.

Members’ Showcase

Theme Image: BOOK TITLES

Get your thinking caps on and your creative juices flowing. The theme this month is a challenge for you to submit an image which exemplifies a BOOK TITLE. Be prepared to identify the title of the book as your image is displayed to the members. We expect to see a wide range of submissions with lots of imaginative interpretations.

You are encouraged to submit your photos to share with other club members. Sending your images by e-mail works very well and facilitates showing them on the screen at the meeting. For this month, please send your photo to Robert Feduke. When submitting your images, please identify them with your first and last name and in the subject line of your e-mail indicate that it is for the theme BOOK TITLES.

Anything Goes

You are encouraged to submit images for Anything Goes either by e-mail or by bringing them with you to the meeting in printed format. You can submit more than one image for this segment. For images submitted this month please e-mail them to Robert Feduke. Please identify the images with your first and last name and in the subject line please type Anything Goes.

It is by sharing with each other that we learn and this segment offers an opportunity to do just that. By sharing our images we receive encouragement for our efforts and gain inspiration from the work of others which may lead us to try new techniques.
