Regular Meeting – May

When: Tuesday, May 26, 2015 @ 7:00 pm
Where: Room 104, Algonquin College, Perth

Guest Speaker: Claude Wauthier

Our featured speaker at this month’s meeting is Claude Wauthier who is a Professional Photographer from Gatineau. Although he specializes in portrait and wedding photography he also enjoys nature and travel photography. He delights in sharing his 40 years of photographic experience in teaching photography to both groups and individuals. Claude finds satisfaction in seeing the spark in his customer’s eyes when they look at their photographs, knowing that they have mastered the techniques he has taught them. We can look forward to an interesting presentation showcasing Claude’s creative talent.

Members’ Showcase

Theme Image: Raindrops

This month’s theme is Raindrops and should provide you with an open interpretation of how you choose to portray them. You may want to capture the real thing with the forecast calling for rain over the coming days or you may want to invent some of your own creative water droplets. You are encouraged to submit your photo to share with other club members. Sending your image by e-mail works very well and facilitates showing them on the screen at the meeting. For this month, please send your photo to René Jones. When submitting your images, please identify them with your first and last name and in the subject line of your e-mail indicate that it is for the theme RAINDROPS.

Anything Goes

You are encouraged to submit images for Anything Goes either by e-mail or by bringing them with you to the meeting in printed format. You can submit more than one image for this segment. For images submitted this month please e-mail them to René Jones.
Please identify the images with your first and last name and in the subject line please

It is by sharing with each other that we learn and this segment offers an opportunity to do just that. By sharing our images we receive encouragement for our efforts and gain inspiration from the work of others which may lead us to try new techniques.
