When: Tuesday, November 26, 2013 @ 7:00 pm
Where: Algonquin College, Room 104
Guest Speakers: Doreen and Rob Donald
Our very own Doreen and Rob will be sharing their images and experiences from the workshop they attended with Freeman Patterson and André Gallant this past October. The time spent with Freeman and André as well as the other participants was inspiring to say the least so we are in for a wonderful evening with this creative duo.
Donna-Marie has been working with updating the Club's Website; giving it a new look and with that come a few changes that we should all know about. That being said, Donna-Marie will be showing us the new website and explaining how we can move around it easily and answering any of your questions.
Theme Image: PLENTY (held over from October) & BACK ALLEY/GRAFFITI
Many of you sent in your Plenty images for the October meeting but because of time constraints we decided to hold those pictures to show at the November Meeting. The theme for the November Meeting is BACK ALLEY / GRAFFITI so hopefully you have managed to capture some images for this topic too. The subject is, as always, open to interpretation.
You are encouraged to submit your photos to share with the other club members. We have found that submitting them via e-mail works really well as we can show them on the screen for easy viewing. Please e-mail your photo to Linda Mentzel Name your images with your first and last name and the theme title in the subject line.
Just as a gentle reminder - we have "Series of 4 Images" as one of the spring theme challenges. We discussed it at the September meeting and will do so again next week but for those who took up the challenge and are going with a time line project we thought with the seasons changing it might be a good time to remind you of this theme.
Pictures in this segment can be of any subject. Sometimes we have a fantastic photo that we want to share and sometimes we would like to have some feedback on what could have been done to improve the image. By sharing your inspiration, techniques and questions with other members it helps all of us to develop as a more informed photographer.
Again, we really like showing the images on the screen but if you have a photo printed on a special paper or canvas and would like to share it, please do. When e-mailing your photo send them to Linda Mentzel with Anything Goes in the subject line. Please name your images with your first and last name.
