Meeting – Applied Photography SIG

When: Tuesday, February 4, 2014 @ 7 pm
Where: Drummond Twsp Hall, 1920 Drummond Concession 7

We would all love to create that perfect family portrait, capture your child/grandchild at some special moment or photograph the character of someone's face. In order for us to do that, there are several facets that we need to know about in order to reach that goal successfully. To kickstart it all off, our very own Chris Crain will be sharing his knowledge about camera settings for portrait photography with us. He will be covering Manual Settings, ISO, Custom White Balance, and Manual Focus. This is a great opportunity to learn these aspects of your camera and how they work together. Please bring your camera with you as well as your manual and make sure your battery is fully charged. Probably a notepad and pen would be a good idea too.

After René's presentation last month on Panoramic Photography and Stitching you were all no doubt anxious to get out there to capture your images for your creative panoramics. Although the weather was not very cooperative in the last month we are hoping that some of you managed to make some images and stitch them together for an outstanding panoramic photo. As we always say, sharing your photos with other members is a great way to get feedback and offer inspiration to others so please consider sending Linda your photos (maximum of 2) so we can enjoy them too.
