When: Tuesday, June 24, 2014 @ 7:00 pm
Where; Algonquin College, Room 104
Finally, the Sunny Days of Summer are here sort of and it is time to wrap up yet another fantastic season for the Lanark County Camera Club. All of the members of this club make this such an inviting group to belong to. With all of the information and expertise that is shared so freely we can't help but learn and improve our photographic skills. Bravo to All of You.
At the meeting we will have our year end reports, elections, review of images and some shared treats to wrap up the season. Hopefully many of you will bring along someone to share this evening with. Don't forget to bring a treat to share and a drink of your choice (sorry - no alcohol). Plates and napkins will be provided.
We are winding the season up with the Photo Challenge which we know is going to show off not only your photographic skills but your creative side. You were asked to choose a maximum of three (3) of the nine (9) topics to bring printed and matted to the final meeting. In the past, this has always produced some outstanding images and we are very confident that this year will be no different. The labels will be supplied for you to fill in with your name and topic. We ask that you bring your images in at 6:30 pm so they can be set up to be displayed. If you don't have a printer, there are several of us in the club who do and would be happy to help out. Just contact Linda to set something up but please don't leave it to the last minute.
Pictures in this segment can be of any subject. Sometimes we have a fantastic photo that we want to share and sometimes we would like to have some feedback on what could have been done to improve the image. By sharing your inspiration, techniques and questions with other members it helps all of us to develop as a more informed photographer.
Again, we really like showing the images on the screen but if you have a photo printed on a special paper or canvas and would like to share it, please do. When e-mailing your photo send them to René Jones with Anything Goes in the subject line. Please name your images with your first and last name.
